The People Behind Zotus City
Founder, Chairman & CEO
Davison Simango
Davison Simango is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Zotus City Development Group, the master developer of the Zotus City Special Economic Zone in Botswana. He is the originator and driving force behind the vision to create a globally connected economic hub capable of unlocking investment, industry and opportunity across Botswana and the wider African region.
Under his leadership, Zotus City has progressed from an ambitious concept into a government aligned development, supported by the allocation of more than 4,000 hectares at Junction 44 in the Ghanzi District. Davison leads the project's strategic direction, international engagement, investment mobilisation and institutional partnerships.
His vision brings together logistics, aviation, advanced industries, tourism, technology, sustainable urban development and social infrastructure within one integrated economic ecosystem. Through Zotus City, Davison is working to position Botswana as a strategic gateway connecting African markets with global capital, commerce and innovation.
Davison has represented Zotus City at prominent international platforms, including the Asia Pacific Cities Summit and Mayors' Forum in Dubai and the TIME Africa Impact Summit in South Africa. Through these engagements, he has advanced international dialogue around investment, future cities, sustainable infrastructure and Africa's evolving role within the global economy.
Driven by a commitment to legacy and long term national impact, Davison is building Zotus City as more than a destination for investment. His ambition is to create an enduring platform for economic transformation, regional connectivity and opportunity for generations to come.
