    Development preparation

    Zotus City is in development preparation. Land consultation and evaluation are under way. Financing has not closed, statutory approvals remain in progress or to be confirmed, and construction has not begun.

      Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Office of the President of the Republic of Botswana.

      Ghanzi land process framework

      Ceremonial MoU signed with Ghanzi District Council and BITC to support the formal land allocation process. This was not a completed legal land transfer.

    3. 10 October 2025

      Regional corridor alignment

      Memorandum of Understanding signed with BITC and the Trans Kalahari Corridor Secretariat.

      Land allocation milestone

      Formal correspondence received concerning the planned approximately 4,200 hectare development footprint. Applicable conditions, approvals and final documentation remain outstanding.

      Ghanzi land consultations

      Land evaluation, consultation, assessment and compensation engagement commenced with affected land interests alongside the Ghanzi Land Board and BITC.

    6. Target Q1 2027

      Planned

      Vision Master Plan completed

      The Vision Master Plan is targeted for completion in Q1 2027, subject to the programme's ongoing preparation work.

    7. Target Q1 2027

      Planned

      Zotus Nexus programme management system launched

      A programme management system to support coordination across the development is targeted for launch in Q1 2027, subject to readiness and final configuration.

    8. Target mid 2027

      Planned

      Integrated feasibility studies completed

      Feasibility studies covering water, solar, roads, logistics, airport and telecommunications infrastructure are targeted for completion by mid 2027, subject to the applicable technical and approval processes.

    9. Target Q3 2027

      Planned

      Draft Technical Master Plan

      The Draft Technical Master Plan is targeted for Q3 2027, building on the completed feasibility studies and subject to ongoing preparation work.

    10. Target Q4 2027

      Planned

      Final Technical Master Plan approved

      Approval of the Final Technical Master Plan is targeted for Q4 2027, subject to stakeholder review, statutory processes and final documentation.

    11. Target end of 2027

      Planned

      Environmental approval

      Environmental and social impact assessment and environmental approval are targeted for the end of 2027, subject to the applicable process.
