    Zotus Group Strengthens Commitment to Zotus City with Second Visit to Botswana

    Zotus Group has successfully completed its second official visit to Botswana, marking another significant step forward in the development of Zotus City.

    During the visit to Gaborone, the Zotus Group delegation held high level meetings with key government stakeholders to advance discussions on the project's implementation and address critical infrastructure requirements.

    Key engagements during the visit included:

    Office of the President: Strategic discussions on the project's alignment with Botswana's national development objectives and Vision 2036, with a focus on job creation, economic diversification, and sustainable development.

    Special Economic Zones Authority (SEZA): Exploratory technical engagement on the regulatory pathway for Zotus City's proposed Special Economic Zone status, including preliminary discussions on incentive structures, governance arrangements and compliance requirements, all of which remain subject to formal designation and applicable approvals.

    Water Utilities Corporation: Discussions on long term water infrastructure and sustainable water management requirements for the proposed development, subject to technical studies and approvals.

    Ministry of Mines and Energy: Exploration of renewable energy opportunities, including solar power generation, energy storage solutions, and grid connectivity to support Zotus City's long term sustainability and renewable energy objectives.

    The visit supported ongoing coordination between Zotus Group and relevant government stakeholders, with technical engagement continuing across the departments involved in the project's preparation.

    The visit reinforces the constructive engagement between Zotus Group and stakeholders in Botswana, and the shared interest in advancing the preparation of Zotus City.
